LGB’s RhB Ge 4/6 is Coming Soon

As a 2024 New Item, LGB announced the iconic Swiss narrow gauge type Ge 4/6 electric locomotive in service of the Rhaetian Railway (RhB).

Meanwhile, LGB has shared a few pictures of the production process of the Ge 4/6, indicating it is expected to arrive at retailers soon.

The RhB Ge 4/6 will be available under article number 24601 for an MSRP of € 1.490,00. The loco comes fully equipped with a sound decoder and operating pantographs.

Large Scale Insider has ordered a Ge 4/6 for a review, so stay tuned for that.

Video of PIKO BR 91.3

PIKO has recently shipped the analog version of their German DR type BR 91.3 steam locomotive.

YouTube user “erabochergartenbahn” already posted a nice video of the analog model, converted with an ESU LokSound sound decoder.

The analog BR 91.3 is available now for an MSRP of € 999,00 under article number 37260. The digital version with sound, pulsed smoke and cylinder smoke will be available soon for € 1.349,00 (MSRP) under article number 37261.

Train Line 45 Delivers RhB Gmf 4/4 #242

Train Line has delivered the RhB type Gmf 4/4 diesel switcher with number 242. The Gmf 4/4 is available in two versions.

The base version suitable for analog and digital operation is available under article number 2050100 for € 999,00 MSRP. A version with sound is available under article number 2050102 for € 1.149,00 MSRP.

Train Line chose mXion as the supplier for the (sound)decoder this time, while they previously relied on ZIMO decoders for instance for the recent RhB Ge 4/6 electric locomotive, or the older Harz Mallet and 99 6101 steam locomotives.
