ESU Removes “Pullman” Line RhB ABe 4/4 III & DFB Plattformwagen from Website

While ESU is mainly known for its “LokSound” DCC decoders and other electronics products, they also have the “Engineering Edition” line of products that brings high fidelity locomotives to the H0 scale market.

In G scale, ESU released some products in the past under the “Pullman” line. Previous Pullman releases include the RhB ABe 4/4 III EMU, the RhB Tm 2/2 switcher, and a set of hopper cars for the RhB/MGB/FO.

Unfortunately, in the last years, ESU kept postponing the release date of a new batch of the ABe 4/4 III & Tm 2/2. Basically every quarter that passed, the expected delivery date got pushed back by another quarter.

ESU has now completely removed the ABe 4/4 III and DFB Plattformwagen from their website.

Only the RhB Tm 2/2 remains on the website (external link – DE), although no expected delivery date is provided.

MK Modells Shows Preproduction Model of 1:22,5 Scale Swiss Type Gb(v) Boxcar

MK Modells has shared pictures of the preproduction model of their 1:22,5 scale type Gb(v) boxcar coming in RhB, MGB and FO paint schemes. The models are handmade brass constructions.

ESU Announces New Handheld DCC Controller “Mobile Control Pro”

ESU has announced a new version of their handheld DCC controller called “Mobile Control Pro”. It’s the successor to the “Mobile Control II” which is not available on ESU’s website anymore.

The “Mobile Control Pro” can be paired to ESU’s own ECoS and CabControl DCC systems, yet it can also be used together with the Märklin CS3 digital system or the Roco Z21 DCC system. The communication happens over WLAN, and you have the option to use the Mobil Control Pro with your own network, or with a separate WLAN adapter.

Kiss Modellbahnen Schweiz Enters Insolvency

Kiss Modellbahnen Schweiz GmbH has entered insolvency/bankruptcy. Once more details are available, we will publish them.

For now, the assumption is that end customers and retailers that have made advance payments and have not received the products yet, are likely to be out of luck.

Kiss Modellbahnen Shows Samples of Harz Passenger Cars

Kiss Modellbahnen Deutschland has finished the hand samples for their Harz passenger cars in 1:22,5 scale. The Harz cars in full metal construction can be ordered in many different versions ranging from NWE Era II paint schemes up until HSB Era V paint schemes including the “Traditionswagen”.

Order close at the end of March 2025, delivery is expected early 2026. Price per car: € 1.190,00.
