MK Modells Shows Preproduction Model of 1:22,5 Scale Swiss Type Gb(v) Boxcar

MK Modells has shared pictures of the preproduction model of their 1:22,5 scale type Gb(v) boxcar coming in RhB, MGB and FO paint schemes. The models are handmade brass constructions.

Delivery is foreseen for July 2025. Preorders can still be placed. MSRP is at 489 CHF (~ 505 EUR) excl VAT.

PIKO Shows Samples of DB BR 221 & Chemical Tank Car at Intermodellbau Dortmund 2025

PIKO has showed a running sample of their new DB type V 200 / BR 221 diesel locomotive at the “Intermodellbau” trade fair in Dortmund (Germany).

Delivery of the analog (#37460) and digital (#37461) models is planned for June 2025.

Slightly less accessible was the new chemical tank car (#37860). While still a sample, it definitely looks to be on track for its promised delivery in September 2025.

Märklin Announces 1 Scale “Edelweiss Pullman Express”

Märklin has announced the historic “Edelweiss Pullman Express” in 1:32 scale as a complete set consisting of the locomotive and 6 passenger cars.

Kiss Modellbahnen Schweiz Enters Insolvency

Kiss Modellbahnen Schweiz GmbH has entered insolvency/bankruptcy. Once more details are available, we will publish them.

For now, the assumption is that end customers and retailers that have made advance payments and have not received the products yet, are likely to be out of luck.
